G4 Dhru Mukherjee
30:50
thank you
Jennifer Cowley

Dhru, the State Health Commissioner will be releasing the final priorities. The expert panel is working through the details. They are meeting weekly and we expect further detail soon https://dshs.texas.gov/coronavirus/immunize/evap.aspx

As a vaccination site - once authorized - it would be our Health and Wellness Center medical staff administering the vaccine to our faculty, staff and students.

As an FYI, all of your deans and chairs have received the Gallup results and have been asked to review and to plan to address any items that can be improved.
Jennifer Lane
49:35
Thank you, Carol!
Jennifer Cowley
49:44
And the VERY exciting change is this year we were able to divide faculty results from staff results.
Jennifer Lane
50:24
That’s great!
G8 Jennifer Lane, Chair
01:04:28
These are great to see.
Jennifer Cowley
01:10:45
Your academic leaders focused on mission and feedback as two topics of focus for this past year - as it relates to Gallup. I would like to think these efforts have resulted in improved scores.
G8 Jennifer Lane, Chair
01:11:32
Thank you Provost Cowley
Jennifer Cowley
01:17:03
All deans have a copy of a book about the Gallup survey construction and what each question measures and how to improve engagement on each measure. https://smile.amazon.com/12-Elements-Managing-Rodd-Wagner/dp/159562998X/ref=sr_1_2?crid=3I7LV4LC4TQ7T&dchild=1&keywords=gallup+12+questions&qid=1607547459&sprefix=Gallup+12%2Caps%2C162&sr=8-2
G7 Anderson-Lain, Karen (she, her)

The breakdown by faculty type (tenure, tenure-track, and nontenured) is quite interesting with tenured faculty feeling the most disengaged of the three. You can look at these differences by using the Faculty Tenure drop by Reporting Group tool.
G8 Jennifer Lane, Chair
01:19:48
Thank you Karen!
G7 Anderson-Lain, Karen (she, her)
01:22:20
We actively mentor tenure-track faculty.
Adam Chamberlin
01:32:54
I know we are compared to other Universities, but do we have any idea if they are tier 1, public, or private… 4-year or 2-year?

01:35:16
thanks Mark. good work
Jennifer Cowley
01:36:18
Jose I appreciate your point. Keep in mind we use the COACHE which is very detailed about faculty work and we know the peers we are compared against. The positive of the Gallup is it is a temperature gauge and allows us to see where we need to focus in terms of units across the university that need focus on improvement.
Jennifer Cowley
01:36:36
And because the Board loves this tool - we use it and get as much out of it that we can :)
G3-Jose Perez
01:36:58
